JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel OR Tech for a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate will provide essential support during surgical procedures within the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
- Select and assemble instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide requested instruments and supplies.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens and waste.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment within the operating room.
- Document relevant information as required.

Schedule / Shift
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Must possess current Alaska state background check and fingerprints.
- Must be able to start on or after August 10th.

Experience
- Previous experience as a Scrub Tech or OR Tech required.

Skills
- Proficient in sterile technique.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to surgeon's needs.

Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
