  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echo Technician to perform high-quality, comprehensive echocardiogram studies. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform high-quality echocardiogram studies in accordance with accepted clinical protocols
    2. Utilize appropriate technical judgment to conduct exams independently and accurately
    3. Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all patient interactions and documentation
    4. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members
    5. Adhere to established protocols and meet departmental deadlines and standards
    6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures
    7. Support team operations by contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment

    Required Qualifications
    1. Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in echocardiography
    2. Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
    3. Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography technician
    4. Strong technical skills with the ability to function without supervision
    5. Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and customer service skills
    6. Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
    7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) — Required
    2. CPR Certification — Required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
