  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within a healthcare setting. This role will provide administrative and clerical support to medical staff and management, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and excellent patient service. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in maintaining organized records, coordinating schedules, and facilitating communication across departments.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide administrative support to healthcare staff, including scheduling, correspondence, and record management.
    2. Answer phones, greet patients, and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel.
    3. Prepare and maintain patient files, medical records, and departmental documentation.
    4. Assist with billing, insurance verification, and data entry into electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    5. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and staff schedules.
    6. Maintain office supplies and ensure availability of necessary materials.
    7. Support compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
    8. Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support clinical and operational needs.

    Required Qualifications
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    6. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
    2. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    3. Prior experience supporting physicians, nurses, or healthcare teams.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Medical Administrative Assistant certification (preferred but not required).
    2. HIPAA compliance training (preferred).
