  • Job Summary
    The EEG Technician will perform electroencephalogram (EEG) tests primarily in the epilepsy unit, assisting with patient monitoring and diagnostic procedures. This role requires expertise in neurological testing and adherence to hospital safety protocols to ensure accurate data collection and patient care.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct EEG tests and assist in neurological diagnostic procedures.
    • Monitor patients during EEG recordings and document findings.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety procedures.
    • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support epilepsy patient care.
    • Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment for optimal performance.

    Required Qualifications
    • Registered EEG Technician (preferred).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in EEG technology.
    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    • Experience working within an epilepsy unit.

    Certifications (if any)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
    • Registered EEG Technician (REEGT) (preferred).
