JOB SUMMARY Performs diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
Key Responsibilities - Operates CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the body. - Positions patients accurately for imaging procedures. - Selects appropriate technical factors and imaging equipment settings. - Administers contrast media as required and according to policy. - Recognizes and responds to emergency situations. - Maintains patient confidentiality and safety. - Documents procedures and patient information accurately in the medical record.
Schedule / Shift 36-Hours Monday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Thursday 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Saturday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - Current BLS certification.
Skills - Proficient in CT imaging techniques. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. - Strong patient care and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
