Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Apply nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures to patient care.
- Organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Prior experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting.
- Familiarity with physician office systems and medical terminology.
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
