JOB SUMMARY Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit, assisting with patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities • Assess patient health status and identify nursing needs. • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment. • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans. • Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records. • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. • Respond to patient needs and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment. • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Unit / Specialty Medical / Surgical Nursing
Required Qualifications • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical setting is preferred.

EMR / Systems • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is required.
