JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to ensure the proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of medical instrumentation within the facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and safety of patient care by ensuring that all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment operates according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance on a variety of medical instruments and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning medical instrumentation.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, calibration, and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and institutional policies regarding medical equipment.
- Respond to urgent requests for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Document and report equipment failures or recurring issues to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with the installation and validation of new medical equipment.
- Stay current with manufacturer updates, service bulletins, and technological advancements in medical instrumentation.

Required Qualifications

Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical instrumentation or a related technical field.
