Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care by assessing physical conditions, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and medical histories to develop individualized treatment plans
- Design and implement therapy programs to improve strength, mobility, and overall physical function
- Educate patients and families on exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Use specialized equipment and techniques to aid rehabilitation and recovery
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in physical therapy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Experience working in hospital, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Certifications (if any)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Specialized certifications in areas such as Orthopedic, Neurological, or Sports Physical Therapy (preferred)
