  • Job Summary
    The Registered Nurse - Oncology provides compassionate, efficient, and detail-oriented care to oncology patients. 
    This role requires strong knowledge of oncology procedures and patient safety practices, with the ability to respond quickly in emergencies. 
    The RN offers comprehensive support, education, and treatment to patients and their families, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver patient-centered care with effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
    • Provide care for ill, injured, and recovering patients, particularly those with cancer and related conditions.
    • Regularly assess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and document patient records.
    • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to support optimal patient outcomes.
    • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
    • Work independently, under appropriate supervision, to achieve patient care goals.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
    • Exhibit a commitment to personal growth and career advancement in oncology nursing.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
    • Active RN licensure in good standing.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
    • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an oncology setting.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Advanced certification in Oncology Nursing (e.g., OCN) for additional expertise.
    • Strong critical thinking skills and experience with emergency response in oncology care settings.

    Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
