Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care, support daily living activities, and ensure the overall well-being of patients and residents. The CNA plays a vital role in assisting with personal care, monitoring health conditions, and supporting the healthcare team in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective patient care
- Respond promptly to patient calls and determine appropriate assistance
- Support patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and exercise
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to maintain comfort and prevent complications
- Ensure patients receive appropriate diets by reviewing dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences
- Gather and communicate patient information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses regarding conditions, treatment plans, and activities
- Measure and record food and liquid intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical staff
- Record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as directe
- Examine patients for medical concerns including wounds, bruises, or other health issues
- Remind patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements
- Document and report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or symptoms to nursing staff
- Stay current with CNA training, facility policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient dignity
- Knowledge of basic patient care practices and safety standards
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Certifications (if any)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
