JOB SUMMARY The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities • Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. • Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities. • Perform CT-guided biopsy and drainage procedures. • Operate and maintain the CT scanning system. • Assist with and perform studies with or without contrast media. • Possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy relevant to CT imaging. • Adhere to surgical and sterile procedure protocols when applicable.
