Key Responsibilities - Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities, medical history, and treatment goals. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment. - Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to maintain progress. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. - Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with facility standards. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. - State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Experience - Experience in an outpatient occupational therapy setting preferred.
Skills - Strong assessment and treatment planning skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and modalities.
