  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Patient Sitter to provide continuous bedside observation and non-clinical support to patients. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety, preventing falls, and maintaining a calm and supportive environment for patients and their families.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide continuous bedside observation to assigned patients.
    2. Ensure patient safety and fall prevention at all times.
    3. Promptly report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.
    4. Assist with basic comfort and non-clinical support such as repositioning and hygiene reminders.
    5. Maintain a calm and supportive environment for patients and families.
    6. Accurately document observation activities as required.
    7. Follow all facility safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines.

    Required Qualifications
    1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
    2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    3. Ability to remain attentive and responsive in patient care settings.
    4. Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Prior experience in a healthcare or patient care setting.
    2. Familiarity with hospital safety and infection control protocols.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. None required; CPR or BLS certification is a plus.
