Job Summary
The Surgical Scrub Technician assists in both elective and emergent surgical procedures, focusing primarily on orthopedic, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and orthopedic spine surgeries.
This role requires extensive experience in total joint and orthopedic procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team to maintain a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field for surgical procedures.
- Support surgical team members with instruments and supplies during operations.
- Provide expertise in orthopedic and total joint surgeries, as well as other specialties such as gynecology, robotics, urology, general surgery, ENT, and spine.
- Ensure proper handling and organization of instruments and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
- Complete and update documentation in the EPIC EMR system.
- Participate as a team player and assist in other tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician, with strong experience in total joint and orthopedic procedures.
- Availability to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
