  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant will perform both administrative and clinical duties, ensuring smooth daily operations in the healthcare setting while providing compassionate service to patients.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
    2. Record patient history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
    3. Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and minor procedures.
    4. Administer basic clinical tasks such as injections, specimen collection, and EKGs (as permitted).
    5. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and update electronic health records (EHR).
    6. Handle patient inquiries and provide education on care instructions.
    7. Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness and cleanliness.
    8. Support billing, coding, and insurance documentation as needed.
    9. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety standards.

    Required Qualifications
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
    3. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    6. Proficiency with electronic health record systems and MS Office applications.
    7. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Prior experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting.
    2. Experience in patient education and administrative support.
    3. Bilingual skills are a plus.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
