JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical assistance and support to physicians and other healthcare professionals during interventional gastrointestinal procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist gastroenterologists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Ensure sterile technique is followed throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and procedure logs.
• Clean and sterilize endoscopes and accessories according to protocol.

Schedule / Shift
Per diem shifts available.

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
• Previous experience as an endoscopy technician or in a similar role.

Skills
• Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
• Knowledge of endoscopic equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
