  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to provide counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. The therapist will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to support emotional well-being and mental health recovery.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
    2. Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
    3. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
    4. Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
    5. Educate clients and families on coping strategies, mental health resources, and community support.
    6. Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education activities.
    7. Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
    2. Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent (state-specific).
    3. Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and mental health disorders.
    4. Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health settings.
    2. Training in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., EMDR, play therapy, family therapy).
    3. Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. State licensure or certification in mental health counseling or social work.
    2. CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
