  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ICU RN will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, ensuring safe, high-quality, and evidence-based nursing practices. This role requires strong clinical expertise, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
    2. Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and responses to treatment.
    3. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
    4. Operate and manage advanced medical equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps).
    5. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
    6. Respond promptly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions.
    7. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and ongoing care needs.
    8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic charting system using laptop-based tools.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in State.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Strong knowledge of critical care practices, protocols, and equipment.
    4. Proficiency in electronic charting systems (Epic preferred).
    5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Advanced certifications in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN).
    3. Prior experience in a hospital-based ICU setting.

    Certifications
    1. State RN license (required).
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required).
    3. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (required).
    4. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (preferred).
