plaintext JOB SUMMARY Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Key Responsibilities - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. - Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and other specialized equipment. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans. - Provide emotional support to patients and their families. - Document patient status and care provided accurately and comprehensively.
Schedule / Shift - Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Skills - Proficiency in neonatal critical care. - Ability to manage ventilators and other life support equipment. - Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
EMR / Systems - Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is generally expected.
