  • Job Summary  
    The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services at Spaulding Cape Cod in Sandwich, MA. This role oversees the management of all nursing operational services, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and regional regulations while meeting the needs of patients. The Nurse Manager provides leadership, fosters collaboration, and ensures high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Plan, organize, and direct nursing services across the facility.
    2. Evaluate nursing operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    3. Manage nursing staff, including scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluation.
    4. Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
    5. Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards.
    6. Flex schedule as needed to meet operational and patient care requirements.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (conditional licenses not accepted).
    2. Prior nursing management experience required.
    3. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    4. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing operational needs.
    5. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
    2. Experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings.
    3. Knowledge of federal, state, and regional healthcare regulations.

    Certifications
    1. Current State RN license (mandatory).
