Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to manage a wide variety of patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and treat emergency patients.
• Administer medications and emergency interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes.
• Perform point-of-care testing and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN License or Compact RN License.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-acuity environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI/De-Escalation Certification.

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC or ATCN

Shift Details

• Shift: Mids, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36 Hours
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• On-Call: Voluntary
