Job Summary
• Responsible for overseeing all nursing operations in a Level 3.7 detox unit
• Key focus areas include staffing, quality of patient care, policy development, and collaboration with community and internal leadership
• Works closely with Executive Director, Program Director, Director of Nursing, and Medical Director to maintain high standards of care
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily nursing operations within the detox unit
• Supervise nursing staff and oversee patient care standards
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Collaborate with leadership team to optimize care delivery
• Support community engagement and communication efforts
• Utilize standard software tools such as Word and Excel for reporting and coordination
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license – Massachusetts license required
• 4–10 years of clinical and leadership experience
• Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and other standard software applications
• Comfortable working in a detox or behavioral health environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Detox experience – Highly preferred
Certifications
• CPR – American Heart Association (AHA) – Required by start date
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – Required by start date
• Flu vaccination – Required prior to start
