Job Summary
We are seeking experienced procedural nurses to join our Outpatient Services team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pain management or interventional radiology and must be comfortable working in a fluoroscopy room while wearing lead protective equipment. This role requires strong clinical skills, patient-centered care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support for outpatient procedures, including pain management and interventional radiology.
- Assist physicians during fluoroscopy-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of procedural nursing experience; pain management or interventional radiology preferred.
- Experience working in fluoroscopy rooms and ability to wear lead protective equipment for extended periods.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
