JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse within a Med/Surg unit at Skyline Medical Center, focusing on cardiac and general medical-surgical patients. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes promptly.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
- Float to other departments based on patient care needs.

Schedule / Shift
- 3 12-hour shifts per week.
- Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
- Experience with cardiac patients is highly preferred.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in patient education and care planning.
