JOB SUMMARY Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities - Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. - Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient observations. - Assist with patient mobility, including transferring, ambulating, and repositioning. - Maintain a clean and safe patient environment. - Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record. - Respond to patient call lights and provide assistance as needed. - Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
Schedule / Shift - Rotating shifts (may include nights, weekends, and holidays)
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - Successful completion of a state-approved CNA certification program. - Valid CNA certification in the state of practice.
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Previous experience as a CNA is preferred.
Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. - Basic understanding of medical terminology.
Patient Population - Adults and Geriatric patients.
Unit / Specialty - General Care Units
Floating / On-Call - May be required to float to other units as needed.
