JOB SUMMARY Performs diagnostic imaging procedures on patients as requested by a physician.
Key Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to capture images used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. • Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all radiation safety protocols. • Administer contrast media as required for procedures. • Assist physicians during invasive radiological procedures. • Maintain sterile technique throughout all invasive procedures. • Monitor patient vital signs and condition during procedures, reporting any changes to the physician. • Document patient care activities and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record. • Maintain and stock procedure rooms with necessary supplies and equipment. • Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained. • Participate in STEMI coverage protocols as required. • Provide assistance and support to other members of the healthcare team.
Schedule / Shift Days 4/10's 6a - 4:30p
On Call 9-10 Shifts/month and 1 Weekend
Required Qualifications • ARRT certification required. • Must have Cath Lab experience. • Experience scrubbing invasive radiological procedures including angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO), device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, and Peripheral procedures. • Proficiency in sterile technique. • Experience with Impella and IABP.
