JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment in La Porte, IN. This role involves working in a fast-paced procedural room environment, optimizing post-surgical patients, and contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare and operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Document patient care and procedure details.
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment.
- Optimize patient care in the post-surgical phase.

Schedule / Shift
Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

CALL REQUIREMENTS
- Approximately 10 call days per month.
- Call shifts are 24 hours.

Unit / Specialty
Cardiac Cath Lab

Experience
- 1-2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Certifications
- ARRT
- BLS
- ACLS

EMR / Systems
- Cerner (preferred, but not required)

Patient Population
- Adult cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.

Patient Ratio
- Cath cases include 1 RN, 1 Tech, and 1 RN/Tech float.

Floating / On-Call
- Floating is not required.
- On-call duties are required.

Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant Cath Lab experience.
