  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Interventional Technologist to join our medical imaging and interventional radiology team. The technologist will assist physicians in performing minimally invasive vascular procedures using advanced imaging technology. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Prepare patients for vascular interventional procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
    2. Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic and procedural images
    3. Assist physicians during vascular interventions such as angioplasty, stent placement, and thrombolysis
    4. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns or complications
    5. Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
    6. Document patient care activities and procedural details accurately in medical records
    7. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    8. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality
    9. Stay current with advancements in vascular imaging and interventional technology

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
    2. Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
    3. State licensure as required by local regulations
    4. Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, imaging techniques, and interventional procedures
    5. Excellent communication and patient care skills
    6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in vascular interventional radiology or catheterization lab settings
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
    3. Advanced training in specialized vascular procedures

    Certifications (if any)
    1. ARRT (VI) Certification preferred
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
    3. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
