Job Summary
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Support surgical teams and ensure adherence to safety and sterile procedures during cardiovascular surgeries

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct surgical services on the operating room (OR) team(s)
• Work within specialized areas that treat open-heart (cardiovascular) patients
• Ensure that sterile procedures are followed and required equipment and medications are available
• Maintain patient safety at all times
• Participate in patient care, clinical decision-making, monitoring, and CVOR coordination
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Provide care with one or more year(s) of current experience in CVOR

Required Qualifications
• One or more year(s) of current experience within the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications
• Strong decision-making and coordination skills in high-pressure environments

Certifications
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active license(s) in the state(s) of employment
• Current BLS/BCLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
