JOB SUMMARY Seeking a qualified Neuro IR Tech for a travel assignment. This role will assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Assist physicians in performing interventional and neuro interventional radiology procedures. - Administer moderate sedation in accordance with unit policies. - Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. - Monitor patient vital signs and condition during and after procedures. - Maintain sterile techniques and ensure a clean and safe procedure environment. - Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment. - Document patient care and procedure details accurately in the EMR system. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care. - Participate in rotational call duties.
Schedule / Shift - Monday - Friday - 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM - cases completed (call days) - Rotational call on weekdays and weekends.
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing. - Experience in Interventional Radiology.
Certifications - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Experience - Must have Interventional Radiology experience.
Skills - Proficient in performing moderate sedation. - Familiarity with procedures performed in CT, MRI, US, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology. - Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment. - Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Floating / On-Call - Will rotate to all departments within Medical Imaging. - Rotational call on weekdays and weekends is required.
