Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient clinic team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, support clinical procedures, and collaborate with providers and care teams to ensure continuity of care. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week day shift position, with occasional evening hours as needed. Shared housing is provided at no cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
- Assist with assessments, treatments, and procedures as directed by providers
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team
- Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and ongoing care plans
- Document all care provided accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, protocols, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinic, outpatient, or primary care setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency in using EHR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ambulatory or community health nursing
- Knowledge of chronic disease management and patient education
Certifications (if any)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
- Additional nursing certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) are a plus but not required
