  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore physical function following injury, illness, or surgery.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
    2. Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and use of assistive devices.
    3. Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
    4. Provide feedback to adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
    5. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for therapy sessions.
    6. Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.
    7. Comply with all regulatory and documentation requirements.
    8. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support overall patient care.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    2. Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a PTA in the state of employment.
    3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    4. Ability to follow instructions and work closely with a supervising Physical Therapist.
    5. Strong attention to detail and patient safety.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience working in an outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation setting.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
