Job Summary
The Healthcare Associate I plays a vital role in supporting clinic operations by assisting with patient scheduling, data collection, and administrative care coordination in a community health setting. This position helps facilitate healthcare access, supports clinical teams, and enhances patient care routines to ensure efficient clinic workflow and improved patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including patient appointment scheduling, data entry, and records management
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical coordination to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Support outreach initiatives as needed
- Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff to improve access and care quality
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to clinic policies and procedures
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other clinic activities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years
