  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (Medicine Specialty) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a wide range of health conditions, from simple to complex. Working under general supervision, this role ensures patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment in a hospital setting.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
    2. Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; record changes in physician orders.
    3. Assist physicians during examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
    4. Obtain and monitor patient physiological data; observe and intervene as necessary.
    5. Administer prescribed medications; initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
    6. Deliver patient care competently and consistently.
    7. Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospitalization and at discharge.
    8. Educate patients and families on hospital procedures.
    9. Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
    10. Delegate tasks to support staff.
    11. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
    4. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    6. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
    7. Basic computer skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board-approved program.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a valid multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
    2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
