JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for a backfill, travel position. This role involves assisting physicians in performing a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including interventional coronary cases, structural heart interventions, and peripheral interventions.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Operate and monitor diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems.
• Administer medications and contrast agents as directed by physicians.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Schedule / Shift
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Certified Vascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Radiology Technologist (RT).

Experience
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is required.

Skills
• Proficient in assisting with cardiac catheterization, interventional coronary cases, structural heart procedures, and peripheral interventions.
• Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) procedures is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
