JOB SUMMARY Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Responsible for operating radiologic equipment, performing various imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and shifts based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician's orders and established protocols. - Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively. - Position patients for optimal imaging results. - Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Perform patient registrations and clerical duties as needed to support walk-in teams. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care. - Adhere to all safety regulations and departmental policies. - Participate in quality assurance activities. - Demonstrate excellent patient care and produce high-quality exams.
Schedule / Shift - 40 hours per week. - Four 10-hour shifts: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with a weekend rotation. - Varied shifts including days, evenings, overnights (if CT trained), and weekends based on need. - Flexibility is critical due to varied location and shift requirements.
Experience - Must be able and willing to work at all specified locations as needed. - 2+ years of solid hospital experience preferred.

Patient Population Adult, Pediatric, Geriatric (general patient population).
Unit / Specialty Radiology - General. CT services offered at main hospital and Wells location. This role supports main campus in York, ME, and walk-in care facilities in York, Wells, and Sanford. Must be willing to work at all locations.
Floating / On-Call - Must be able and willing to work at all specified locations as needed. - Weekend rotation is required.
Preferred Qualifications - Fluency in Bone Density. - Fluency in Fluoroscopy. - Fluency in C-Arm. - Fluency in CT. - Fluency in Portable Radiology.
