  • JOB SUMMARY
    Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed healthcare professionals who help patients reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and prevent long-term health conditions through fitness and wellness programs. PTs examine individuals, develop treatment plans to enhance movement, alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Utilize various treatment techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
    • Educate patients on preventing or managing their condition for long-term health benefits.
    • Develop fitness and wellness programs to encourage healthier and more active lifestyles.
    • Provide care in various settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.

    Schedule / Shift
    • Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1630
    • Weekend requirements: 2 weekend shifts per assignment (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday).

    Required Qualifications
    • State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practices.
    • Current BLS certification.

    Experience
    • Previous experience in Rehab, SNU, and Acute Care settings is required.
