JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit. This role requires a highly motivated individual committed to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
- Assess patient health status, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and document care accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans.

Schedule / Shift
Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. Every other weekend required.

Required Qualifications
- Compact or Alabama (AL) RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

Experience
- 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.

Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EMR / Systems
- Cerner experience preferred.

Patient Population
- Adults with various medical and surgical conditions.

Floating / On-Call
- Floating expectations may apply within Medical Surgical units.
