    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive physical and psychological assessments of clients to develop or follow individualized treatment plans.
    • Assess clients' home and work environments to determine necessary adjustments for optimal functioning.
    • Advise on adaptive equipment to enhance clients' ability to perform daily activities.
    • Develop physical rehabilitation programs aimed at helping clients regain lost skills.
    • Prepare clients for a successful return to work through tailored rehabilitation strategies.
    • Educate caregivers and family members on effective patient care techniques.
    • Evaluate the results and progress of occupational therapy interventions on clients.
    • Maintain professional knowledge and stay updated on technical advancements to provide clients with the best treatment programs available.
    • Comply with all federal, state, and local certification requirements.
    • Evaluate patient conditions in relation to physical and basic mental health.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a program accredited by ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association).
    • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
    • Compliance with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to care for clients with diverse personalities and needs.
    • Proficiency in using computers for various tasks related to client care and documentation.
    • Strong ability to assess patient conditions and collaborate on effective treatment plans
