Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves managing daily operations, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing team members.
- Monitor patient care plans and ensure adherence to medical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs.
- Address patient and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
- Experience in hospital or long-term care facility management.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
