Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse with advanced knowledge in electrophysiology to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity interventional cardiac environment. The role requires both independent work and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and families.
- Utilize equipment, supplies, and nursing resources appropriately.
- Foster continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Facilitate consistent and efficient communication among staff.
- Ensure all documentation and billing requirements are accurately completed.
- Educate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff at all levels.
- Maintain adherence to hospital, departmental, and regulatory policies and Radiation Safety protocols.
- Participate in research, quality improvement, and other departmental projects.
- Stay current with developments and trends in electrophysiology through ongoing education and training.
- Assist in the orientation of new employees.
- Support the organization’s Mission, Vision, Values, and departmental initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Current State Nursing License required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Advanced knowledge of interventional cardiac procedures and acute cardiac/circulatory/respiratory emergencies preferred.
- Advanced skills in assessment and evaluation of chronically ill cardiac patients.
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions
