plaintext JOB SUMMARY Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in accordance with physician's orders and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing techniques. - Document patient progress and outcomes. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Schedule / Shift Rotating shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. - Completion of a clinical fellowship year.
Certifications - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience - Pediatric experience preferred.
Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EMR / Systems - Experience with electronic health records.
Patient Population - Pediatric patients.
Unit / Specialty - Outpatient Speech Therapy.
