Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and support physicians in delivering accurate and timely results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other radiographic exams
- Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to interpret imaging results
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- Assist in maintaining supplies and equipment in the radiology department
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Completion of an accredited radiology technology program
- Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and patient care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Prior experience in hospital or outpatient imaging settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic or similar)
Certifications (if any)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- State licensure as a Radiology Technologist (as applicable)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
