JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Registered Nurse - Infusion with expertise in providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring infusions.
Key Responsibilities - Administer medications and treatments via infusion routes. - Monitor patients for adverse reactions and complications during and after infusion. - Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy, medication administration, and potential side effects. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Schedule / Shift - All shifts available (days, evenings, nights, weekends).
Required Qualifications - Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required depending on unit/patient population.
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience. - Prior experience in infusion therapy is strongly preferred.
Skills - Proficient in intravenous (IV) therapy and phlebotomy. - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
EMR / Systems - Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.
Patient Population - Adult and/or pediatric patients requiring infusion services.
Unit / Specialty - Infusion Center or Outpatient Infusion Services.
Floating / On-Call - May be required to float to related departments as needed. - On-call responsibilities may apply.
