  • Job Summary
    The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to nursing staff by delivering direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities. This position ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients while promoting dignity, respect, and compassionate care.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
    2. Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
    3. Assist nursing staff with patient care procedures and transport of patients as needed.
    4. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control and hospital policies.
    5. Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to the supervising nurse.
    6. Support patient mobility and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
    7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    8. Uphold confidentiality and patient rights at all times.

    Required Qualifications
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice.
    3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in an inpatient, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification – required.
