Job Summary
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to nursing staff by delivering direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities. This position ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients while promoting dignity, respect, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Assist nursing staff with patient care procedures and transport of patients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control and hospital policies.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Support patient mobility and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Uphold confidentiality and patient rights at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

- Prior experience in an inpatient, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
