Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to provide clinical services to individuals, families, and groups. The professional will assess behavioral health needs, develop treatment plans, deliver therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Provide counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention services.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education activities.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Strong therapeutic and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience working in hospital or community mental health settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Training in trauma-informed care or specialized therapeutic modalities.
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications in behavioral health specialties (e.g., CBT, DBT) preferred.
