Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY
    This position is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations. The technologist will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality diagnostic images.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
    - Prepare patients for MRI scans, including screening for contraindications and explaining the procedure.
    - Position patients accurately for optimal image acquisition.
    - Administer contrast media as required and appropriate.
    - Operate MRI scanner console and associated hardware.
    - Monitor patient condition during procedures.
    - Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of MRI equipment.
    - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
    - Adhere to infection control and safety standards.

    Required Qualifications
    - ARRT registered.

    Preferred Qualifications
    - Siemens MRI experience preferred.

    - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
