  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. This position requires a compassionate and clinically skilled nurse to care for patients throughout the childbirth continuum. The RN will work rotating shifts and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn stabilization.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care in all phases of the childbirth experience, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
    2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for mothers and newborns.
    3. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
    4. Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, administer medications, and manage complications.
    5. Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
    6. Document patient care using Epic EMR system.
    7. Adhere to established protocols and comply with all health and safety regulations.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active State RN License (unrestricted).
    2. BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
    3. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
    4. Minimum 1 year of LDRP and postpartum nursing experience.
    5. Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system.
    6. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    8. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Experience in rural or community hospital settings.
    2. Additional certifications in maternal-child health or obstetrics.
