JOB SUMMARY
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans, ensuring accurate imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CT procedures of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Perform biopsy and drainage procedures under CT guidance.
• Possess knowledge of CT system processing.
• Understand and adhere to surgical/sterile procedures.
• Administer studies with or without contrast media.
• Exhibit knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services as needed.

Schedule / Shift
• Days, Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
• BLS certification.

• Experience with diagnostic CT Scanning procedures.
• Experience with basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

• Proficiency in performing CT scans of various anatomical regions.
• Ability to perform CT-guided biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of contrast media administration.
• Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Competency in processing CT system data.
• Familiarity with sterile and surgical procedures.
